In 2001, Jeff Goldman and friends produced a compilation of their works praising Christ. The artists appearing on this album, in order of appearance, are: Angela Hannan, Bonnie Egbert, Rick Reeve, Jeff Goldman and Ashley Harris. All composed and performed their individual songs.

There's some good material here. Jeff Goldman, Angela Hannan and Bonnie Egbert wrote the best lyrics, while Rick Reeve wrote the album's instrumental pieces. Ashley Harris also had some pieces on the album but I felt that her song "Turn to Him" was too dark in tone musically for the lyrics. I enjoyed her "Pour Over Me" far more. Jeff Goldman's "The Fire in My Soul" was pretty good and the closer "Testimony" had some wonderful harmony between the album's five artists.

This album is fairly early in the artists' respective careers so it has some of the uneven qualities one might expect from unseasoned producers. However, it is an interesting look at the potential of several independent artists whose work is bound to turn heads as they mature. I give it 3 stars.
